Solution To clean a non-stainless steel exterior: Wipe the front of the appliance with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive detergents or sponges with a rough surface. To clean a stainless steel exterior: Avoid using a sponge or abrasive detergents. Wipe with the grain when cleaning stainless steel. Use a mild, non-abrasive cleaning agent or stainless steel cleaner with a soft cloth. Wipe dry to avoid watermarks. Do not use cleaning materials that contain chlorine since it is corrosive to stainless steel. Warning: Some stainless steel cleaners are known to have negative effects on materials other than stainless steel. Make sure to apply stainless steel cleaner to stainless steel components only! Spray the surface with water and polish with the blue cloth. Always wipe in the direction of the grain. Always make sure your cloths are clean to avoid scratching surfaces. E-cloths (part # 00466148) can be purchased in the Bosch online accessories store.      

How often should the Descaler be used on a dishwasher?

Solution The Descaler should be used if the dishwasher is badly scaled. This should not happen if salt or All-in-one tablets are used as advised in the manual, but it is recommended that dishwashers are descaled once a year.  

How should I protect stainless steel surfaces from marking?

Solution You can treat the surface with a tested and approved oil impregnated Conditioning Cloth (can be ordered from us) will assist fingerprint and mark resistance. Some people use baby oil or similar products on stainless steel. However, these products do not work as they attract dust and fluff, causing a residue to form. The same Conditioning Oil as in the cloths can be ordered in a bottle from us. It is food-safe and can be used on surfaces which are in contact with food.      

How should I use "Dishwasher care"?

Solution 1. Empty your dishwasher. Do not unscrew the cap, but remove the protective sticker on the top of the bottle. 2. Turn the bottle upside down and securely placed it into the cutlery basket. 3. If the dishwasher does not have a cutlery basket, place securely in the bottom rack – the sticker can be used to assist holding it more securely. 4. Choose a program of at least 65°C (for example the normal program or intensive) and let it run until completion.    

How should I use "Machine cleaner for dishwashers"?

Solution 1. Empty your dishwasher completely and remove any food residues from the filter area. Check the spray arms and clean if required. 2. Choose a program of at least 65°C (for example the normal program or intensive) and start the machine. 3. After 30 minutes open the machine with caution and empty the contents of the pack into the cutlery basket or spread throughout the whole dishwasher. 4. Let the program run until the end.    

How should I use Descaler for my dishwasher?

Solution 1. Run the 60°C program without detergents or dishes. 2. After 30 minutes, open the dishwasher with caution and add the contents of the box. 3. Run the program again for thorough cleaning.      

How to remove grease from stainless steel surfaces?

Solution Remove any deposits with our tested and approved Stainless Steel Cleaning Powder. This will remove dirt and spillages without damaging the surface. Make sure the powder is used on a damp cloth as a ‘paste’ and wipe along the grain of the metal. This product can be ordered from us.
